Metabolic Differences with ASD

Dr.James Adams and his team have recently published a very interesting paper on the metabolic and nutritional differences between autistic and neurotypical children.  They found that there were significant differences ( elevated and depleted levels ) of vitamins, minerals and various biomarkers for processes in the body, such as oxidative stress, energy production, methylation and sulphation.

This supports the view that there are metabolic and nutritional disturbances in individuals with autism and that biomedical nutritional intervention can have a profound effect.
